The Board of Directors is responsible for CACUBOs organizational direction. In order to carry out their responsibilities the Board:
- Holds regular quarterly meetings,
- Special meetings by teleconference, as necessary,
- Makes use of membership surveys and other assessment tools.

- Evaluated CACUBOs program effectiveness.
- Gathered information to develop new programs and services.
- Measured member satisfaction with CACUBO and its programs.
Results:
- Overall results were quite positive.
- Results have been used to guide decision-making.
- One outcome:
- There was confusion over the roles of NACUBO and CACUBO
- Work has been done to clarify these roles through the ACUBO Innovation Process
