Don't forget the opportunity to attend the Pre-Conference Current Issues Workshop held on February 8th. Another exceptional professional development value held at the same venue. This one-day workshop is geared for small college business officers who have many various responsibilities. At small colleges, chief business officers wear may hats in addition to their finance, accounting, and management hats. These often include insurance and risk management, facilities, information technology, and procurement as well as dealing with staff issues. We invite you to come to a session designed with you in mind.

This current issues, pre-conference will include presentations and facilitated discussion of a variety of topics including current issues from URIMA on risk management, talent management and employee engagement, risks and strategies related to international travel and study for students and faculty, as well as discussions of facilities and information technology issues. The pre-conference will be held on February 8, 2011 with registration beginning at 8:00 am and the conference running from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm at the St. Louis Hilton at the Ball Park.
