WINTER Workshop Committee 2011-2012

The WINTER Workshop Committee plans, supervises and evaluates the annual workshop to provide quality and timely professional development. Whether you are a seasoned finance administrator or a relatively new director or staff member of a specialized area, you will find sessions to meet your interests and benefit your institution. The program covers a wide variety of topics within the accounting, human resources, leadership, and communications disciplines. The workshop also provides an excellent opportunity to network with peers about issues on campus and trends in higher education.

Committee Goals:

  • Support CACUBO’s mission of improving college and university financial management and business administration.
  • Provide a professional development opportunity of outstanding quality and value of staff for all levels in business/financial management.
  • Offer course selections representative of issues facing constituent institutions (public, private, large, small, technical as well as community colleges) and business/financial professionals within the region.
  • Coordinate the presentation of course selections by a variety of excellent, experienced and knowledgeable speakers.
  • Manage the workshop in a responsible and fiscally sound manner that will ensure the continuation of the workshop while keeping the cost to participants as low as possible.
