2017 CACUBO Workshop – For Higher Education Professionals

The workshop provides an excellent opportunity for professional development and networking for administration and business staff of all levels.  CPE credits will be available.

We hope you’ll join us for a curriculum of excellent faculty and topics, kicked off by Keith Friede. Keith Friede leads the Talent & Organization Development practice for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.’s North Central Region.  Keith will kick off the 49th Annual CACUBO workshop with the opening session “Rock Your Presentations – Rock Their World” designed to provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to produce influential and transformational presentations. His subsequent concurrent session “Rock Your Presentation – Part Deux” offers further skills development through practical application of the content delivered in the opening session. Keith will also be leading the workshop’s optional 2nd day session “Human Capital Investment Management & the Organizational Fingerprint” aimed at attendees interested in discovering strategically-oriented human capital investment management and methods for optimizing returns on talent investment.

The first day general session speaker is Dale Boehm, President/CEO of Caspian Technologies, Waukesha, WI.  Dale will lead the workshop’s day 1 general session “Cybersecurity Through Enterprise Risk Management” which will enlighten attendees on the aspects of today’s cybersecurity challenges, assessing the risk of those challenges, adaptive security architecture and the top 10 cybersecurity concerns relevant to ANY organization.

Closing the workshop will be Keith Tozer, an award-winning coach and sports management professional with 35 years’ experience coaching and directing numerous teams at all levels, including professional and national teams.  Behind every championship team there are great leaders. In front of every great athlete there is a person of great influence. Alongside every great accomplishment are individuals who provide support, encouragement and passion all pulling together for the common goal, success! Keith’s closing session will cover these valued insights as well as discuss the keys to successful leadership including how to be a leader within the framework of a team.

We have an exceptional lineup of concurrent sessions, and are pleased to once again offer “super-sessions” at the opening of day one, allowing for participants to experience a deep dive into a particular topic. These super sessions include “History, Organizational Theory of Higher Education”, “Excel, Pivot Tables”, and “Rock your Presentation, Part Deux.”
