SMALL COLLEGE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Do you work at a small college or university, or an independent school? CACUBO offers small college professional development opportunities through events and resources.

Small institutions often have fewer high-level staff to handle the many duties associated with the school’s business operations. You’re likely asked to wear multiple hats every day. If you need support or training when it’s time to take on a new role, CACUBO offers an array of small college professional development opportunities.

We know that spending time, money and resources wisely is particularly essential for small institutions with fewer than 4,000 full-time students. That’s why CACUBO offers affordable professional development programs and resources geared to small colleges. We’re dedicated to helping you advance in your career, and bring new insights and best practices back to your institution.

CACUBO’s professional development opportunities for small colleges are available at our various online and in-person events throughout the year. These events are designed to help you grow your knowledge and skills across a variety of topics, from information technology and auxiliary services, to insurance and construction projects. In addition to networking and sharing information with other institutions, like yours, you can discuss best practices, and access a wealth of expertise and lessons learned from your peers.

REPRESENT SMALL INSTITUTIONS WITHIN CACUBO

To ensure small institutions have a voice in shaping the future of CACUBO, as well as our programming and resources, we established the Small Institution Constituency Council in 2014. If you’re interested in representing the interests of your college and other small institutions within CACUBO, consider volunteering for this council.

With more than 600 member institutions, of which, more than 270 are small institutions, you’ll be able to network with and learn from your peers across the region.
