Best Practices

The Best Practices Program promotes and recognizes transformative and innovative approaches to addressing challenges facing higher education business operations. Past submissions showcased a wide variety of unique programs to improve operations on college campuses. The program allows institutions to share new ideas and approaches with CACUBO membership institutions.


Consider sharing your best practice by participating in the 2022 Best Practices award program. Proposals should showcase your institutions efforts to create better, more efficient and customer friendly business practices. Monetary awards are available for first and second place entries.

  • 1st place: $2,500
  • 2nd place: $1500

In addition, the top two proposals have the opportunity to showcase their best practice during the CACUBO Annual Meeting September 25-27, 2022 in St. Louis and will receive a waiver of conference registration.
